A well-known adventure athlete who became the first blind person to race to the South Pole in 2009, Mark Pollock was then involved in an accident which left him paralyzed. "Courage in Sports" followed Pollock's return to adventure sports in 2016 on an Arrow-designed smart bicycle.
IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe, an Arrow-sponsored athlete, crashed into the wall during a practice lap for the Indy 500 in May 2015. After severing his femoral artery, Hinchcliffe's dramatic recovery - including returning to the top of his sport as pole sitter at the 2016 Indy 500 - is highlighted.
Sam Schmidt dreamed of becoming a racecar driver. That all changed the day he crashed 15 years ago and ended up paralyzed. Rosetta is a spacecraft that traveled for a decade to observe Comet 67P. Philae, Rosetta's lander module, then spent two years on the Comet gathering information. As the mission comes to an end, we salute the European Space Agency and others involved in this incredible project that is helping to uncover long held mysteries of our universe.
